Why six women came together and created this campaign.
We first started this campaign with the idea of changing sex education taught in class. Then, we changed it to teaching incoming freshman about the reality of college, kind of like a prep class. Finally, we landed on our current idea because two of our current founders are sexual assault survivors, and one of dating violence. The two founders who have experienced sexual assault were lost when it came to how to report and what the next step even was.
With help from our experienced co-creators, we created this campaign to inform and educate those who have been affected. We want to use this platform as a way to create change on our campus.
